We love that the Lego version of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 comes with a pair of interchangeable front ends. What better way to instill in your child the importance of aerodynamic design at high speeds?
We aren't sure why the Lego box says this kit is for ages 7 to 14. We do understand that young children may be inclined to put small pieces in their mouths, but there's no need to cap the fun at 14. We wouldn't blame you for buying this little car just for yourself, although if you do have kids it would be so good of you to share.
In real life, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 race car's 6.2-liter V8 reaches 550 horsepower with an intake restrictor. It has been optimized for maximum power and performance that can meet the parameters set by sanctioning bodies.
The road-going Mercedes-AMG GT is about as close as you can get to driving a race car (legally) on the street.
