While the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is categorized as a luxury vehicle (of course), its breathtaking style and high-tech substance put the S-Class in a category of flagship sedans unto itself.

Typically, the full-size sedan is just a larger, more amply-equipped version of the brand's smaller cars, but the S-Class is so distinctively styled, it's really more of a distant relative than a sibling to its lineup mates. Even the base S550 is bathed in luxurious convenience, safety and entertainment features, some nearly unheard of in the mainstream marketplace.
