Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championship Golf Tournament - May 2012

On May 14, 2012, Mercedes-Benz of Nashville hosted the 2012 Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championship Golf Tournament at The Governors Club in Brentwood, TN. Donations from the sixty-eight players who participated along with donations from others who were unable to attend, totaled over $8300 for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee. These donations will help fulfill the dreams of children with life-threatening medical conditions through wish-granting work. This year's tournament raised enough money to grant the wish of at least one local child.

Callie Fuqua, of Brentwood, TN, was able to attend the tournament this year along with Jordan Cimini. In 2007, the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championship tournament raised enough money to grant Callie's Wish. Justin's wish was granted in 2008.

The Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championship Tournaments produce two-person dealer teams that will advance to a two-round Sectional Tournament to be held at Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu, Hawaii.  A total of three teams from this Sectional will advance to the National Final at West Lake Country Club in Augusta, GA.

The Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championships host amateur tennis and golf events across the United States each year, with Mercedes-Benz owners and prospects from Mercedes-Benz dealers' communities participating. Among the most meaningful aspects of the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championships is its charitable component. Since its inception, the program has raised over $14 million for charity.
