What's New for the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC®?
The brilliantly designed Mercedes-Benz GLE takes its place in the 2026 lineup between the GLC and the GLS. For the 2026 model year, the GLE is available in seven trim levels, including the mid-level GLE 450 4MATIC®. In 2026, the GLE 450 will be available for the first time in a coupe body style, as well as the four-door option. There is also a new interior package that adds more luxurious finishes throughout the cabin.
The 2026 GLE 450 has an athletic yet sophisticated look on the exterior. This is defined by a sporty taper across the defined hood and bold sculpting over the side panels. At the front end, the GLE shows off a stardust mesh pattern on the rounded grille. The grille is also styled with a metallic crossbar and three-point logo. The headlights have a standout quality with an upper LED bar and four smaller LED bars. Exterior features available in the GLE 450 are a power liftgate and 19-inch wheels.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 gets its power from a turbocharged six-cylinder gas engine. This mild-hybrid engine produces 375 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission. 4MATIC® all-wheel drive is standard.
If you add the new MANUFAKTUR® Signature Interior package to your GLE 450, your new SUV will come with thick-pile carpeted floor mats, headrest pillows, and premium leather upholstery. This package also includes a fingerprint reader and special exterior paint.
The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 has the same features as the lower trim levels. It comes with synthetic leather upholstery, wireless smartphone charging, a sunroof, a dual-zone auto climate, heated front seats, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto®, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, forward collision warning with accident mitigation, a blind-spot alert, a surround-view camera, parking sensors, an integrated navigation system, a driver attention warning system, and several additional features.
