What's New for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

The new 2019 C-Class received a full facelift. Both the front and rear bumpers have a new, sleek design. The LED headlights and taillights are now standard on all trims and have a fresh look for 2019. New 17-inch twin 5-spoke wheels help make this vehicle look sophisticated. Underneath the hood, consumers will find more power. The 2.0-liter inline-4 turbo engine can now produce up to 255-horsepower, which is 14 higher than the previous year's model. This engine also provides drivers with 273 lb-ft of torque. The C-Class also has a 9-speed automatic transmission, which helps it feel sporty to drive. Starting in 2019, buyers who go with the C-Class will have the option of adding the latest driver assistance features. These are the same features that have been available on the S-Class. It involves an improved camera as well as a radar system that can see up to 1,640 feet ahead of the vehicle. This allows it to drive autonomously in certain situations. Drivers can now also add Active Brake Assist and Active Lane Change Assist. The 2019 C-Class has the distinctive honor of being named an IIHS 2019 Top Safety Pick.

Smartphone integration becomes a standard feature for all trim levels in 2019. There is also a new multi-function steering wheel available with Touch Control buttons. These features join the long list of standard tech in the C-Class, including an infotainment system with a 7" screen, Bluetooth® ¹ capability, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an 8-speaker audio system. Drivers can choose to buy the Sedan, Coupe, or Cabriolet version of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz C 300. They also have the option of going with the C 300 4MATIC® models, which come with standard all-wheel-drive. While each version has similar features, the Coupe and Cabriolet get 18" wheels. The Cabriolet also comes standard with heated seats and AIRSCARF®, which is a neck-level heating system.
