 What's New for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe?
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe features an all-new sportier look for the 2019 model year. Starting at the exterior, the 2019 C-Class Coupe features a new design on the front end and the rear end of the vehicle. That includes new alloy wheels, Standard LED High Performance headlamps with an all-new design and optional LED Intelligent headlamps with an ultra wide high beam. On the AMG® version, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe AMG® C 43 features more aggressive lines than the standard C-Class Coupe. That includes a diamond radiator grille with chrome pins. The C 43 also features an AMG®-specific front bumper.
Moving on to the interior, the 2019 C-Class Coupe features a larger central media 10.25 inch display equipped as standard. There is also an optional digital instrument 12.3 inch cluster display and new multifunction steering wheel with Touch Control Buttons for those who desire a personal touch, there are new upgrades available such as Natural Grain trim elements. To enhance the driving experience, the C-Class Coupe has received a number of future-oriented driver assistance systems. This system will allow the C-Class Coupe to drive semi-autonomously in certain situations. Additionally, there are improved camera and radar systems allows the system to to see up to approximately 1,640 feet ahead. Other driver assistance technologies available include Active Lane Change Assist, Active Emergency Stop Assist and Active Steering Assist.
On the mechanical side, the 2019 C-Class Coupe has received a new 2.0-liter inline-4 turbo engine that produces up to 255 horsepower. This is an increase from the previous generation's 241 horsepower standard engine. This new engine is married to a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. For those who crave the ultimate horsepower experience, in the C-Class Coupe, there is the optional AMG®-enhanced 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces up to 385 horsepower. This allows the AMG® C 43 Coupe to go from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds.
