Performance
The primary difference between the 2026 GLE 350 and GLE 450 4MATIC® is experienced behind the wheel. Under the hood, the GLE 350 is powered by a four-cylinder turbo engine. This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and produces 255 horsepower. The GLE 350 has a front-wheel drivetrain, and the GLE 350 4MATIC® adds standard all-wheel drive.
The GLE 450 4MATIC® comes with a turbocharged V6 engine paired with the same nine-speed automatic transmission. This is a 375-horsepower system that has front-wheel drive. It comes with standard 4MATIC® all-wheel drive.
Appearance
You won't find any differences between the GLE 350 and the GLE 450 4MATIC® on the exterior. Both are remarkably styled with a sophisticated, contemporary flair. The look begins on the sides with deep sculpture running over the door panels. The curved nose features a flared design with chrome columns. The sharply styled air vents below the LED headlights contrast with the horizontal accents. Segmented and solid LED accent bars and LED bulbs highlight the headlights. A power liftgate and 19-inch wheels are included.
