Performance
The 2022 and 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC models both feature a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that generates 255 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic transmission, and the 2023 GLC adds a mild-hybrid component. You can opt for a 4MATIC® all-wheel drive drivetrain or rear-wheel drive. There’s even a GLC AMG® model available for the 2022 GLC, and it comes with sport-tuned 4MATIC® all-wheel drive and a 385-horsepower, turbo V6 system. Later this year, the 2023 GLC will be offered with a plug-in hybrid engine.
Appearance
Thanks to the resized wheelbase, the Mercedes-Benz GLC's interior and exterior designs have been updated to display modern, sophisticated style and slightly larger dimensions. The 2023 GLC boasts an 11.9-inch driver-centric central display screen, upgraded upholstery options, and wood trim. On the exterior, the 2023 GLC has a more athletic look with smooth and slightly convex doors underlined by a metallic accent bar. The headlights have been redesigned, featuring a dark tint, a solid LED accent line, and segmented LED lights. The grille has also been restyled with a black grille, a metallic outline, and a horizontal, segmented bar. The bumper has a more commanding look in 2023 with a thick, metallic outline.
Features
The MBUX infotainment system has been upgraded in the 2023 GLC, featuring enhanced voice recognition capabilities and optional augmented reality for the navigation feature. Other exciting features include heated seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, Level 2 Drive Pilot assistance, a 360-degree camera with a transparent hood feature, and traffic sign recognition.
