Performance
Two powertrains are available across the GLB's three trim levels. These are a 221-horsepower, four-cylinder engine, and a 302-horsepower alternative. All trims have a dual-clutch-eight speed transmission, and the top two options have 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. The GLC, on the other hand, has one trim level with one engine option. This is a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 255 horsepower. The engine connects to a nine-speed auto transmission, and you can choose between rear-wheel or 4MATIC® all-wheel drive.
Appearance
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLB has a bold, confident look, a boxy profile, and substantial body molding. The front of the GLB features diamond-like LED headlights and a wide grille with vertical accent bars. The molding on the bumper widens as it spans the large air vents. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC takes a different approach with its styling and shows off smoothly rounded sides, a tapered roof, and metallic accents along the lower perimeter. The grille is accessorized by a thick chrome bar that crosses it horizontally. The headlights stand out with their angled, double-elemental LED bars.
Features
The GLB is impressively appointed with features like an optional third row, a power liftgate, heated seats, reclining rear seats, driver's memory settings, an MBUX system, a touch controller pad, forward collision mitigation, several USB-C ports, voice recognition, a household power outlet, automated parking, a panoramic sunroof, and numerous additional features. The GLC is available with these features, and it adds a larger display screen, a premium sound system, and a head-up display. This model is not available with an optional third row.
