 What's New for the 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 S E PERFORMANCE?
As part of Mercedes-Benz's bold plan to have a mostly electrified line of cars and SUVs by 2030, it is introducing the 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 E PERFORMANCE. This plug-in hybrid sports sedan replaces the previous C 63 sedan. While the C 63 had a V8 gas powertrain, the new model will draw its stunning power from a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine and an electric motor. It comes with AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+ all-wheel drive with fully variable torque.
The 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 E PERFORMANCE will compete head-to-head against sport sedans like the BMW M3 and others, but it will stand out with its impressive speed and quickness. Its acceleration time to 60 miles per hour is 3.3 seconds. In addition, the powertrain system offers 752 pound-feet of torque and 671 horsepower. Its capabilities are supported by an AMG® automatic nine-speed transmission, a coil-spring suspension system, and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The eight driving modes allow the driver to adjust the sedan's steering, adaptive dampers, and stability. The available driving modes are Individual, Sport, Sport+, Battery Hold, Comfort, Electric, Slippery, and Race. One-pedal regenerative braking with four levels further elevates the sedan's performance.
Compared to the outgoing model, this plug-in hybrid sport sedan is slightly wider and 3.6 inches longer. The sophisticated style includes the brand's contemporary design language as well as individualized elements for distinction. It hugs the road and is equipped with quad exhaust finishers and up to 20-inch wheels. It also shows off sporty air vents on the front and rear, and the nose has jet wing styling.
The 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 E PERFORMANCE cabin is equally captivating with sleek, glossy surfaces and premium materials. It has a decidedly athletic feel with paddle shifters on the flat-bottom steering wheel and bolstered sports seats. At the same time, its contemporary side is brought to life with a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation screen and a central 11.9-inch touch display screen with the latest MBUX system.
