 What's New for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300?

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 is one of the newest cars to come straight out of the Mercedes-Benz company and the latest for their GLC 300 model series. As a luxury crossover SUV, the new GLC 300 keeps the same exterior style from the year before but adds in some new things like heated front seats, a standard household power outlet and tri-zone climate control. The performance has seen some upgrades, starting with a 241 horsepower engine that can push out 273 feet per pounds of torque. It generally requires premium unleaded fuel and has a fuel efficiency of a combined 24 miles per gallon, which is rather modest for an SUV. It contains an all-wheel-drive engine with a 9-speed shiftable automatic transmission and inline four cylinders to round it out.

Keeping up with all new models, the GLC 300 maintains its own set of interior decorations, comfort features, entertainment systems, and safety protocols. Because it's an SUV, the GLC 300 can seat up to five people inside and give them the benefit of sitting in leatherette front seats with height adjustment settings. A wide variety of interior options are available here, such as a heads-up display, rear side window sunshades, a heated steering wheel, LED ambient lighting and AMG® performance front seats for the more advanced trim models. The entertainment starts with simple radio access along with having speed sensitive volume control, two subwoofers, and up to thirteen audio speakers. Other comfort features include cruise control, a leather steering wheel, a rearview camera, keyless ignition, and extra front seatback storage. As far as car safety goes, the SUV starts with a pre-collision and post-collision safety system that keeps drivers aware and alert for other cars and any damage that the GLC 300 may take. An emergency braking preparation system is also in place, along with braking assist to help out, should the brakes take damage or start to fail. A remote anti-theft alarm system is in place to give warning to any vandal or thief. Lastly, there are turn signal mirrors that give other drivers notifications when turning.
